Pinup, Boudoir Photography, Pictures and Portraits in Raleigh and Greensboro

 

Boudoir photos can make such a meaningful gift to a groom, partner or loved one. I really enjoy creating boudoir sessions, such as the session with Anna Kate. For this session, we used a room at the J.H. Adams Inn in High Point, NC and I wanted to include some natural elements in the shoot to add interest. I knew of a place where there was some wild wisteria growing. About two hours before the shoot, I chopped some down and filled my Prius with the beautiful flowers. I know the people at the hotel probably thought I was crazy bringing all of these vines in, but it made for some truly beautiful shots and I am happy with the results. Most importantly, Anna Kate loved her images and her boyfriend; Matt really appreciated her gift to him. I try and include some customize elements by shooting at a different location. Typically I will shoot at the same location, but if there is anything I can try and change about the session, maybe different lighting, it will keep my sessions fresh and interesting.

 

Katie approached me and asked me if I could take some pinup style boudoir pictures of her to give to her husband for their ten-year anniversary. She had a variety of incredible wardrobe items from Victoria’s secret and I believe she did at least five wardrobe changes. I photographed her session in a studio and we used different elements.

 

One of my brides, Katie asked me to take some photos to give to her fiancé on the wedding night. I took these in my studio in Raleigh and there were a few locations close to Edwards Mill Road we went to as well.

 

I really enjoy boudoir photography because it is sexy but artistic. I try and keep the images soft and feminine but more candid. As a gay man, I find it easy for my clients to relax and be themselves. I invite my clients to have a glass of champagne or cabernet before the shoot and maybe have their hair and makeup done professionally at a salon in Raleigh or Greensboro.

I have custom-created albums for all of my boudoir clients and continue to offer albums at various sizes. Prints and digital files are also available. I am truly honored as a photographer, to have such wonderful, beautiful clients who have allowed me to share their beautiful images.
