Wedding Details and Fine Foods
Beautiful details enhance any wedding photography or event. Many of these events have been captured all over North Carolina from Greensboro to Raleigh and some of these photos have been captured in Napa Valley. They showcase my love of food and capturing the essence of the world around me. I have no only captured these at special events, but daily life. As a photographer, I am constantly on the look out for colors, shapes, light and locations and not only want to capture the emotions and people at an event, but also the many aspects.
Some of these various details include beautiful fragrant flowers, vivid tablecloths and table settings, fine wines and cheeses, and artfully designed invitations. I truly believe that details help to tell the story of a wedding and can be a strong representation of the bride and groom. From the silver wear to the glassware, these can help to support the style and vision of the couple at the reception. Even though many of the guests or even the bride may not remember the food she ate, I feel that as a photographer it is my obligation to capture the day in it’s entirety. If I have the opportunity to capture the food, flowers and many of the desserts, I will definitely include that in my photographic documentation. I look forward to seeing the style of the bride and groom being reflected through the details they have so thoughtfully chosen for their day.
Raleigh Wedding Photographer
I have had the pleasure of working alongside many talented food stylists and chefs and have dined at many fine establishments including many restaurants and Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bakery in Yountville. This has encouraged me to not only photograph the fine foods, but develop an appreciation for their flavor and sample many of the fine wines California has to offer. I will continue to photograph food, details, and many of the elegant accessories life has to offer.
